You might be in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States or elsewhere. Wherever you are: Thank you so much for following us in 2020. We hope you will continue doing so in 2021.
We might look like a Corona publication right now, and we probably are, to some extent. But this is temporary. The pandemic is dominating all of us. I can assure you that we are sick of the subject, like everyone else, but we are taking it seriously. And, like most people, we worry about people’s health, about the weak and about everyone.
When the virus is finally defeated, and in between, we will return to what we actually are. This endeavor, The Berlin Spectator, is about Germany, about Berlin in particular, about culture, politics, people, social subjects, tourism and a lot more.
The new year, 2021, will probably be another difficult one. But it will be interesting as well. To what extent will we manage to get rid of the virus? Since the Merkel era is about to end: What will happen in Germany once she leaves politics in fall? When will culture return? Read about all of the above, and a whole lot more, on The Berlin Spectator.
Some things take more time than we wish they did, for several reasons. But we will finally be offering a newsletter soon. And there are other plans.
To all Christian readers: Merry Christmas. Happy holidays to everyone else!
We wish everyone a happy new year as well.
Three things, above all, are important right now: Health, health and health. Don’t catch the virus. And if you do, get through it quickly and well.
Thank you again.
Best regards from Berlin,
(The Berlin Spectator)
