Berlin, November 7th, 2026 (The Berlin Spectator) – The Berlin Police Department and the Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office are searching for Lisa Ta, a thirteen-year-old girl from Berlin. Both authorities are asking the public for assistance.

Lisa has been missing since Monday morning. On November 3rd at about 7:20 a.m., which is when she left her home in order to go to school. At 7:30 a.m., she was going to travel from Barnimplatz to her school in Sella-Hasse-Strasse in Berlin’s Marzahn-Hellersdorf district by public transport. It’s a ride of up to 14 minutes. But Lisa never arrived, according to the police.

The investigators working on the case assume that she did not go missing voluntarily. Since Monday, a large search operation has been underway. On Friday, police used search dogs, as the RBB reports. Also, a helicopter flew back and forth over the search area in Berlin’s eastern part in order to find Lisa Ta.

By now, the prosecution believes an offense may have led to the girl’s disappearance. A homicide division by the State Office of Criminal Investigation is involved in the case.

Berlin’s Fifth Homicide Division is looking for persons who have information about Lisa’s whereabouts. The investigators want to know whether anyone has seen her since Monday morning and if anyone was in touch with her.

The investigators can be reached by phone (030) 4664-911555, by e-mail (LKA115-Hinweise@polizei.berlin.de) or directly, at Keithstrasse 30 in Berlin’s Tiergarten borough. Alternatively, any police station can be contacted.
